Another inspiring Call 30 Dismantling the Prison Pipeline event took place at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Kitchener. Facilitators Fiona Li (MCC) and Lana Moses (Feather & Cross) led 17 participants through a journey from childhood to adulthood, making tough choices and realizing that even with good decisions, life can be unpredictable. The pipeline to prison has many twists, and changing the over-incarceration of Indigenous women will require heartfelt commitment and thoughtful action. Itโ€™s up to us to challenge each other and work together toward a safer, better path forward.
